We reserve the right to not paint someone who is sick. If a guest displays any of the following: runny nose, fever, conjunctivitis (pink eye), ear infection, has open cuts or a cold sore, rashes, abrasions, head lice or any other obvious transferrable illness, then for their safety and the safety of all the other guests, JuJubilee’s will not be able to paint them.

It is up to the discretion of the artist, whether or not an alternative hand/arm painting or glitter tattoo could be done instead. Lastly, we reserve the right to politely request any abusive or destructive guest to refrain from their behavior and/or leave the face painting area/booth without being painted.

Face painting on a child less than 3 years of age is not advised by FACE (The Face Painting Association). At very crowded events, it is not likely that our artists will be able to make any exceptions. In these situations, we have a large selection of skin stickers to choose from. However, if time permits, our artists may opt to do a small design on the arm with our water-based non-toxic line of paints.

Children at this age have very sensitive skin and we choose to stay on the side of caution with these precious babies. Children younger than 3 years are also not yet able to understand and will rub their face and smear the design before it has had ample time to dry.

Glitter tattoos are strictly prohibited on children under the age of 3 years; no exceptions.

For daytime outdoor events, a covered area of at least a 10x10 dimension is required in order to provide shelter from the elements and to protect the equipment and supplies. Should one not be available, we will bring a canopy for an additional $25.00 fee. Electricity is not required but during the summer months, it is highly recommended so we may bring a small shop fan.

For evening outdoor events ample lighting is required. Usually, a well-lit porch area or yard still isn’t enough for face painting. It is preferred that access to electricity is available so that we can provide our own lighting.

We usually provide our own tables unless your event will have ample table space readily available. This can be determined at the time of your booking. We will bring our own stools for your guests.

The amount of space we need depends upon the size of your event. We usually set up with a small 4’ folding table and a stool for the smaller events. For the larger events, we require up to a 10x10 area. This can be determined at the time of your booking as well. AT ALL EVENTS, it is required that JuJubilee’s is set apart from the other activities going on. Large crowds often gather and will cause a difficult working space for us. Therefore, please make sure to keep us separated by at least 15-20 feet.
